Mandala-Makaravilak: KSRTC’s revenue is 38.88 crores

KSRTC received an income of 38.88 crores through the service provided as part of Mandala Makaravilak Utsav. A total of 1,37,000 chain services and 34,000 long-distance services have been operated on the Pampa-Nilakkal route since the beginning of the Mandala period. A total of 64.25 lakh people traveled through KSRTC. On January 15, Ayyappa devotees returning from Makarajyoti darshan were running chain services from 7 pm to 3.30 am on January 16 without a break on the Pampa – Nilakkal route. Long-distance services to places like Chengannur, Kottayam, Kumily, Thiruvananthapuram, and Thrissur were also conducted. There will be chain services till the night of January 20, when the Sabarimala route closes, and long-distance services till 4 am on January 21.
